The artist and all-around guru behind Cave Story, Daisuke Amaya a.k.a. Pixel, is a real human being! Recently on the Cave Story Wii blog a photograph of him appeared signing a Wii, the first and only likeness published on the web (well, published and connected to his name, who knows where else he may be on the intertron). It may be from above and behind the head, but it’s enough to prove he’s not a vague collection of internet intelligence that assembles every so often to create games.
