Making a banner ad? Try proofreading — part 4!

Wow, a fourth banner typo post? I’m saddened to have reached this far without even trying, though I have to admit, I love doing these. Somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind, however, I’m terrified the people I’m poking fun at are banding together, forming small groups of pitchfork-wielding marketing teams, and getting ready to come and exact their revenge. Until that day, I think I’ll go for half a dozen of these. Minimum!

This one was sent to me by a buddy who is responsible for the most creative rickroll I have ever received, artbegotti. Two ads for AeriaGames’ free martial arts game Twelve Sky appeared on a page at once, both featuring the same glaring mistake: the misspelling of a character race. Seems like someone would have caught that glaring error, right? Wanna know what’s worse? Apparently the “proper” name is Jinong, the spelling not used in the big, red, boldface print. I’m guessing the race doesn’t get an Intelligence/Grammar stat bonus?
